I established my business and have been practicing Reflexology since December 2001, working over the years in local establishments, Retirement Villages, the corporate environment and the home clinic.
My passion for Reflexology began some 20 years ago, while receiving a Reflexology treatment for the first time. I had just returned home after 5 weeks in hospital with my prematurely born daughter. My therapist & I found areas that were showing up as tender on my feet, these points had relevant reference to what my body had been experiencing in the previous days, weeks & months.
After the ‘deeply relaxing’ treatment was complete I felt my body, mind & spirit to be more ‘alive’ and ‘balanced’. Basically, I was“hooked” my passion for Reflexology had begun. I continued with my regular treatments & a couple of years later I made my decision to learn more about Reflexology and began my search for the right place to study.
In July 2001 I received my Diploma of Reflexology from Endeavour College of Natural Therapies.
In March 2015 after further studies I Graduated from the Australian College of Hypnotherapy and now hold a Diploma in both Clinical Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
I am a member of The Reflexology Association of Australia, The Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapist & the Australian Traditional Medicine Society respectively.
My core beliefs as a therapist are;
To offer clients support in their health care in a gentle, non judgemental or intrusive way.
To help people become more aware of the emotional connection to the physical bodies manifestation.
Everyone has the ability to heal themselves. I wish to give my clients the opportunity to become more "in touch" with their own bodies-thus allowing them the opportunity to feel more empowered about health maintance.
What people are saying
"When I was in year 12 studying for my HSC I organised to have a reflexology session with Ally Jamieson as I was having trouble coping with the stress of studying.
After my first session with Ally I noticed an improvement straight away. I was able to concentrate for longer periods of time. I was much more relaxed which meant that I was sleeping much better and also I had been experiencing headaches which I put down to high stress levels. Those headaches completely went away and I was able to stop taking Panadol and Nurophen on a daily basis.
I would recommend that any student in their HSC year especially before and during the exams, to experience the benefits of a reflexology session with Ally to help them through that very stressful time. " Jordan.
"I went to see Ally to help me with integrating my study material as I was finding my memory recall was letting me down when it came to my study notes.
I was preparing for a very important exam and wanted to see if hypnotherapy could help me. I found Ally to be a beautiful soul with a nurturing nature and felt comfortable with her immediately. A week and half after my first session with Ally I started integrating and recalling the material I was studying much easier - and my test score super ceded all my expectations..... I am so grateful and would highly recommend Ally to anyone." Lucia.
